Description

Cholesterol is a fatty substance made by the liver and is vital for every cell of the body. As the body makes what it needs we dont generally need to add cholesterol through the diet.

However, many diets include foods rich in cholesterol such as foods high in saturated fats like pork, beef, sausages and dairy foods.

Native to China, red yeast rice is a fermentation by-product of cooked non-glutinous rice on which red yeast has been grown. It contains small amounts of naturally occurring Monacolin K. Monacolin K appears to inhibit the action of an enzyme in the liver (3-hydroxy-3-methylgutaryl coenzyme A reductase) that is responsible for producing cholesterol.

Directions

Take 1 capsule twice daily with a meal or a glass of water.

Keep out of reach of children. Do NOT take if you are pregnant or nursing. This product is NOT to be taken by anyone under 20 years of age. Consult with your doctor before using this product if you are taking any medication. Do not exceed recommended daily intake.
