Description

Cholesterol is a fatty substance made by the liver and is vital for every cell of the body. As the body makes what it needs, we don't generally need to add cholesterol through the diet. However, many diets include foods rich in cholesterol such as foods high in saturated fats like pork, beef, sausages and dairy foods.

Red Yeast Rice contains small amounts of naturally occuring Monacolin K which appears to inhibit the action of an enzyme in the liver (3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl coenzyme A reductase) that is responsible for producing cholesterol.

CoQ-10 is generating more and more interest, mainly due to the benefits it serves to the health of the heart. The muscle cells of the heart use essential fats as energy. CoQ-10, found in all cells, aids the metabolism of these nutrients.

This process secures efficient circulation of blood through the vascular system, greatly improving conditions such as high blood pressure, angina, cardiomyopahy and recovery from heart surgery.

CoQ-10 is an effective antioxidant being essential for energy production, it is also used widely in sports nutrition for the maintenance of muscle, oxygen transportation and to increase recovery time from both training and injury.

Directions

Take 1 capsule twice daily with a meal or a glass of water. Store in a cool, dry place.
