Zinc and copper share similar functions in the body. Body minerals are necessary for the development of the enzyme superoxide dismutase, an important antioxidant. A properratio is also important for healthy lipoprotein and cholesterol levels.

The zinc and copper amino acid chelates in this product are derived from whole rice concentrate rather than ordinary soy, yeast or milk which are commonly used to chelate minerals
